The Janelle is a fun and easy bag pattern with practical outer pockets and lots of space inside. Janelle has an optional snap closure. Janelle is available in 3 sizes: small, medium and large. The small size is perfect as toiletry bag or to store your sewing supplies. The large can even fit your sewing machine! The short or long handles gives you the opportunity to use it as handbag or comfortably carry it on a shoulder. As with all Fab For You Patterns, the instructions of the Janelle bag pattern also include an inspiring tip section with some awesome ideas.

Skill Level for the Janelle Bag:
Janelle is suitable for beginners. The pattern doesn’t require zippers or bias tape. There is an optional button or snap closure, but this is the ultimate pattern to try and make yourself a bag for the first time. The instructions explain all steps thoroughly, clearly and step by step.

Suggested material for the Janelle Bag:
To create a Janelle Bag, we suggest to use stable non-stretch fabrics like: softshell, canvas, jeans, (faux) leather, vinyl, oilskin, wax cotton, cork or PU. When using a lighter fabric, the bag might become saggy. We advise you to carefully interface these kinds of fabrics or stability. A more extensive list of suggested materials and interfacing is included in the instructions.
