Xylina Flared Leggings (NB-14Y)

The Xylina Flared Pants are fitted pants with playful circle flounces. Xylina is as comfy as leggings, but can be worn as pants. The Xylina Flared Pants pattern is packed with options. Choose between a full-circle or half-circle flounce, both also available in a colorblock version. Xylina features a normal or high yoga waistband. You can also add elastic to the hems of the flounces to create playful poof legs.
Xylina is perfect for everyday wear, but also offers endless possibilities for costumes. Make pirate pants, a mermaid look, disco pants, an elf, Yasmin, a circus director, Piet, or let your imagination go wild.

Suggested material for the Xylina Flared Pants

To create the Xylina Flared Pants, we suggest using medium weight knit fabrics with at least 40% horizontal and vertical stretch, such as cotton lycra/jersey.

You can also use a lighter fabric or a fabric with more stretch, but keep in mind that you might need to size down. When using a fabric with less stretch than recommended, you might need to size up.

For the waistband you can use the main fabric or another knit fabric with sufficient stretch and recovery. Depending on the stretch and recovery of your fabric, you might need to adjust the length of the waistband.

We advise you to pre-wash your fabrics, since fabrics can shrink.
