The Sem Pants is a simple baggy pants with an optional faux fly and a waistband which you can embellish with an optional drawstring or elastic. The Sem Pants pattern is designed for stable knit fabrics. Due to the fit of the pants, Sem is perfectly suitable for baby’s in cloth diapers. Skill Level of the Sem Pants
Sem is suitable for beginning sewists. The most challenging part of the skirt is sewing the curve of the faux fly and perhaps topstitching it. However, the instructions will provide clear and step by step help you to be able to create a fantastic baggy pants, even if this is your first sewing project.

Suggested material for the Sem Pants
To create the Sem Pants, we suggest to use stable knit fabrics with at least 30% horizontal and vertical stretch like: cotton lycra/jersey, French terry, (summer) sweat etc.
