The Ugo & Walden bundle is a bundle of both the Ugo jogger pattern and the Walden jogger pattern. Both these patterns are beginner-friendly PDF sewing pattern to create a slightly slim fit jogger, either with or without cool moto style colorblock and either with or without back yoke. Both patterns have tons of options to choose from, like the optional faux fly, optional front or back pockets and various waistbands. Choose an elasticated waistband or a low or high yoga waistband to create the perfect fit. Ugo is a basic style jogger and a very fast sew. This staple can’t be missed in your kid’s wardrobe. Walden has a moto-style colorblockked front and takes a little longer to sew, but the end result is super cool and will lead to a whole bunch of pants.
Ugo and Walden are interchangeable
The front and back pieces of the Ugo jogger and Walden jogger are interchangeable. This enables you to create a Ugo with colorblocks, a Walden without the back yoke or mix and match to create your perfect pair of joggers.
Skill Level for the Ugo & Walden Jogger bundle:
Ugo and Walden are perfectly suitable for beginners. The only challenging elements are the faux fly, the colorblocks and the back pocket flaps, but the entire construction is clearly and step by step explained in the instructions. Just go slowly and read carefully. If these are one of your first pants projects: You got this!

Suggested material for the Ugo & Walden bundle:
To create a Ugo or Walden Jogger, we suggest to use stable, medium weight knit fabrics with at least 30% stretch like: cotton lycra, jersey, interlock or french terry. Keep in mind that you might need to size up if you choose to use a thicker fabric or a fabric type with less stretch than recommended.
For the waistband you can choose to use the same fabric as the pants (main fabric) or choose to make an elasticated waistband. Please keep in mind that French terry isn’t suitable for the low or high yoga waistband. In that case you’ll need to use cotton lycra or jersey.
Blue Fab For You Patterns kids size chart
Ugo and Walden have been designed according to the blue kids size chart. The pattern runs from size newborn (50) up to size 146 (176). Always measure your model and use trunk (for rise) and inseam measurements to choose the correct length. When your model is on the higher end of the table, you might want to look at the size chart of the Ugo adult to find out if the grown up version will be a better fit. The Walden unfortunately isn’t available as adult version yet.
