The Zuhrah is a fun and stylish wide leg pants with a pintucked front. There are tons of fun options to customize your pants and make it entirely according to your taste. Add the optional faux fly or leave it out for a quicker sew. Does your kid need pockets? Zuhrah’s got you covered with optional front or back pockets. For the waistband you can choose between a low or high yoga waistband, Zuhrah’s signature V-shape waistband with a short or long sash and in the tip section an elastic waistband is provided.

Zuhrah is suitable for beginning sewists. The more challenging elements are the pintuck and the v-shape waistband. However, everything is explained clearly and step by step in the instructions.

Suggested material for the Zuhrah wide leg pants
To create a Zuhrah wide leg pants, we suggest to use medium weight knit fabrics with at least 30% stretch like: cotton lycra, jersey, interlock or French terry. Keep in mind that you might need to size up if you choose to use a thicker fabric or a fabric type with less stretch than recommended.
For the waistband you can choose to use the same fabric as the pants (main fabric) when making the v-shaped waistband or choose to make an elasticated waistband. Please keep in mind that French terry isn’t suitable for the low or high yoga waistband. In that case you’ll need to use cotton lycra or jersey.
