For the sleeves, you can opt for either binding or cozy cuffs, depending on the style you want to achieve. Sivo is suitable for cloth diapers

Using cloth diapers can make it challenging to find a bodysuit that fits well. Every cloth diaper system is different, and every baby has a unique shape. While it’s always possible to grade the pattern of the Sivo bodysuit to match your specific cloth diaper system, we understand that this can feel overwhelming or time-consuming.

To make things easier for our cloth-diaper-using makers, we created a dedicated cloth diaper version of the Sivo bodysuit. With this version, you no longer need to grade between multiple sizes to achieve a comfortable fit. Now, our cloth diaper fans can enjoy a perfectly fitting bodysuit with much less effort.

Skill Level for the Sivo Bodysuit

The Sivo bodysuit is perfectly suitable for adventurous beginners. Every part of the construction is explained clearly and step by step in the instructions, making the sewing process smooth and approachable. The most challenging parts might be the Henley neckline and attaching the binding or bands to the leg openings, but with the detailed guidance provided and a bit of patience, each step will feel completely manageable. Suggested material for the Sivo Bodysuit

To create a Sivo Bodysuit, we suggest using medium-weight knit fabrics with at least 40% stretch, such as cotton lycra or jersey. These fabrics provide the right balance of comfort, recovery, and support for a well-fitting bodysuit. You can also experiment with lighter knit fabrics, but keep in mind that you may need to adjust the size if your fabric is thinner or has more stretch than recommended.

For the binding or bands, you can choose to use either ribbing or the main fabric. Ribbing offers extra stretch and makes binding easier, while using the main fabric gives a cohesive, streamlined look. The Sivo pattern includes pieces suitable for both options, but depending on the stretch and recovery of your chosen fabric, minor adjustments may be needed for the perfect finish.

Blue Fab For You Patterns kids size chart

Sivo has been designed according to the blue kids size chart. In contrary to other Fab For You Patterns, this pattern runs from size newborn (50) up to size 2y (92). Always measure your model and use trunk and inseam measurements to choose the correct length. Please note that the blue size chart is not the same as the pink size chart.
