Suggested material for the Gaia Flared Leggings adult

To create the Gaia Flared Leggings adult, we suggest to use medium weight knit fabrics with at least 30% horizontal and vertical stretch like: cotton lycra/jersey, French terry, (summer) sweat or stretch corduroy. You can also use a more lighter or heavier weight knit fabric, but keep in mind that you might need to size up in width if you choose to use a thicker fabric or a fabric type with less stretch than recommended or size down with a thinner fabric or a fabric type with more stretch. Also be aware of the amount of vertical stretch of your fabric. If you use a fabric with less horizontal stretch, you might end up with the Gaia being too short.

For the waistband you can choose to use either jersey or the main fabric. The high yoga waistband is recommended to make with jersey. When using ribbing, we advise you to use elastic for stability.
